Hi! My name is Adam. I am a freelance web designer & illustrator / artist, currently residing in Birmingham, UK. As you can probably tell from the site already, my passion is working with paints to create bizarre textures for my images. I’d have to say my main artistic influences are Ben Templesmith, Ashley Wood & Mark Simpson, who I truly thank for inspiring me to start drawing and paint again. From studying their styles and then applying them to my own, I hope to create art that I can be really proud of.
Following on from that, I have recently started work on my own graphic novel – Incognition: Whole in the Head, written by my good friend Matt Pitman which is also featured on this site – so check it out and give us your feedback!
My other passion is 3D graphics and animation, so when the opportunity to learn Autodesk MAYA came around, I literally jumped at the chance! I’m currently spending every waking moment creating work for my demo reel which I hope to post very soon.
