Void: (astronomy), the empty spaces between galaxy filaments or lifeless or empty.

“Mankind is forsaken.

On the precipice of extinction, aimlessly adrift.
Traversing an insentient void upon a colossal desolate rock.
Resources precious, immorality prevalent, existence of no consequence.
A dark shroud of unmerciful totalitarianism governs all who endure.
Acknowledged and uncontested,

...but there are whispers of change.

Word of a technological evangelism spreads amongst the shadows,
and with the malevolent veil lifted, seeing through enlightened eyes -

The 'New World' rises”.
